Akbar resolved to extinguish this flame and ordered his soldiers to extinguish the flame. The soldiers tried hard to extinguish Jyoti and tried every method but Jyoti kept on burning. The emperor's rule proved to be dwarfed by the mother's strength.
दिन माहीने और साल बदलते रहे लेकिन माता की ये ज्योति सदा प्रज्वलित होती रही। कहते हैं कि एक बार बादशाह अकबर को इस ज्योति के बारे में किसी ने सूचना दी। अकबर ने इस ज्योति को बुझाने का संकल्प किया और अपने सिपाहियों को आदेश दिया कि वे ज्योति को बुझा दें। सिपाहियों ने ज्योति को बुझाने की बहुत कोशिश की और हर तरीका आजमा लिया लेकिन ज्योति जलती रही। बादशाह की हुकूमत मां की ताकत के आगे बौनी साबित हो गई।
